Volunteers and Students Sought for Windham Adult English Class
Literacy Connections of the Hudson Valley and the Main Street Community Center in Windham
are working together to create an English language class for adult speakers of other languages.
The classes will be held in Windham on Saturdays from 10 am to 12 pm and will be starting soon in
September. However, the first step is to gather a team of volunteers who will work together to teach the
No prior teaching experience or foreign language skills are necessary! But don’t worry after orientation, volunteers will complete online training to become certified as Literacy Connections tutors.

Literacy Connections’ Columbia and Greene County Office is located within the office of the Hudson Area Library. Regular hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 5 pm, and Wednesdays 1-8 pm.
