Newburgh Volunteer Orientation Nov 7th 2023

Discover the Joy of Volunteering volunteer with Literacy Connections!

Are you passionate about helping others learn to read and write? At Literacy Connections, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with essential literacy skills and unlocking their full potential.

Our organization has a rich history of making a difference in tackling the issue of illiteracy in our communities. Now, we invite you to be part of this life-changing mission by joining our team of dedicated volunteers.

Whether you’re an experienced educator or a newcomer to teaching, we welcome all who share our commitment to promoting literacy. Our comprehensive training program ensures that you’re equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to make a profound impact as a tutor or small-group teacher, guiding basic readers or English language learners.

Not inclined towards teaching directly? No worries! There are various ways to contribute and support our cause. By becoming a part of our literacy-promoting community, you’ll play a crucial role in transforming lives and opening doors to brighter futures.

To get started on this rewarding journey, all you need to do is register for our orientation. During this session, we’ll provide you with valuable insights into working with our students and empower you with the tools to create meaningful learning experiences.

Join us in spreading the joy of literacy and making a real difference in someone’s life. November 7th at 1 pm at the Newburgh Free LibraryTogether, let’s inspire the love for reading, writing, and learning. Register now by emailing Rachel at Rsalin@literacyconnections.org.
